Yesterday we had dinner at a distant relatives home. I asked Natalie before we left if I could do her eye makeup. When she replied yes and I asked her what colors she wanted, she said "purple and gold."
When I heard that, I immediately started to wonder how I was going to pull off a purple and gold look without making her look like a clown since they're not two colors I'd normally put together. I decided the best thing to do was to have a soft purple shadow but with a punch of purple liner and then transition the gold into a bronzed color so it blended well.
What do you think, did I pull it off?
