Growing up, I was that girl that maybe had 6 pimples total from the time I was 10-18 years old. I know. I never ever ever really thought about acne until I got married, tried out "the pill" and BAM! It all came at me with a vengeance. It had been waiting years deep beneath my skin. Plotting and planning the most perfect and vulnerable time to strike. So I must tell you that I am quite sensitive about my chin and am admitting to you that I touch it up every now and then in my pictures. I'm telling you because I've searched far and wide for different treatments and just want to share with you what I've done to help heal it.
I have acne scarring and still get severe breakouts on my chin. It's not pretty and my makeup supply has doubled in the past few months because of it. Makeup sales are singing my praises. I did some research and found out that chin "congestion" is hormone related so I fully and out rightly blame "the pill." I've read up on a lot of products trying to find something that will get rid of it. I've tried different things but there's one solution that I have been using for years and it has never let me down. It is called Min Ra Sol or as I like to call it Mineral Water.
Here it is. The cold hard truth. I have worked hard at trying to hide this mess and believe it or not this is immensely better than where it once was. I even had a picture as proof but couldn't bear to put it up here so I deleted it from my camera a week later. This picture is a few months in the making and has improved immensely.
Every night I wash my face and soak cotton ball pieces in the mineral water and apply them to my affected areas. Then cover them with band aids.
I have been doing this for years. I have had countless roommates tease me about it but it always works. I truly never thought I'd ever let a man see my nightly regime of band aids and cotton balls but AJ lets me do it every night without saying a word; for that I am truly grateful.
I'm sorry I do not have a true before picture. But I am glad my chin is where it is now and no longer where it was. Also, my mom has been buying Minrasol from health food stores in Utah. So I'm not sure where else to get it.
Other things I have used Mineral Water to heal:
-Severe rash on my neck
Love it or hate it, it's just what I do.
Also, if you have severe acne, this girl does the most amazing job I've ever seen of covering her acne.
